Program Dynamic

This program asks the user to input the means, standard deviations and sample sizes for two independent groups as well as the desired confidence interval.  After pressing calculate, the program shows the mean difference, the standard error of the mean difference, the confidence interval for the mean difference, the d statistic (a standardized effect size measure), the point biserial correlation (a correlational index of effect size), eta squared (the percent of variance accounted for in the sample), epsilon squared (an unbiased estimate of the percent of variance accounted for in the population), the t ratio, it's degrees of freedom, and its p value.  The example below shows how the dialog box looks after the data have been entered and the Calculate button is pressed.

ZumaStat also has utilities for calculating confidence intervals for all of the measures of effect size.
